Superintendent Danny Adkins shares two important announcements regarding school and athletics.
Adkins comments, “At last night’s regular board of education meeting, the board voted to continue virtual instruction at this time expressing concerns about the virus. They will reevaluate this plan at the next regular board meeting on February 22. The board members expressed concern about the virus and want the employees who are choosing to be vaccinated to have had their second vaccinations and the 14 day period following the vaccination in order for the employees to have the full force of the vaccine.”
Adkins comments on the second decision saying, “Our board members also voted to suspend all elementary and middle school athletic events and practices. Again, they decided this due to concerns over the spread of the virus. They will reevaluate this suspension on February 22 as well.”
